The Department of History at Stony Brook University (State University of New York) is delighted to invite applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of History in the area of early modern or modern Eastern Europe/Eurasia. The specific area of specialization is open, including Russia, Eastern Europe and areas of Central Asia, the Eastern Steppes, and the Caucasus. We particularly encourage scholars with interests in transregional, multiethnic, and/or borderlands histories.
