The Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering (CSEE) at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) invites applications for several non-tenure track teaching positions.  These full-time positions begin in Fall 2025.  Applicants with experience or interest in teaching will be considered for an Assistant Teaching Professor position.  Applicants with substantial industry or government experience, a terminal degree (e.g. PhD), and who possess a record of effective teaching may be considered for the position of Professor of the Practice. Effective January 1, 2025 UMBC has new teaching faculty titles:  Lecturer = Assistant Teaching Professor, Senior Lecturer = Associate Teaching Professor, Principal Lecturer = Teaching Professor.
