The Department of Chemistry at Ohio Wesleyan University invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professorship of Chemistry beginning in August 2025. Applicants must possess a PhD (or be ABD) in Chemistry and have a strong commitment to teaching undergraduates of all experience levels and from diverse backgrounds, including those who are traditionally underrepresented in the sciences. The successful candidate will be expected to teach approximately 11 contact hours per semester focusing on General Chemistry lecture & lab and Organic Chemistry lab, and will join a departmental community of 4 full-time faculty members with a wide range of research and teaching interests.
