The Adams State University School of Business invites applications for one full-time, nine-month, non-tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in General Business. This position requires relocation to the Alamosa Colorado area with the successful candidate beginning in the academic year 2025-2026. The person appointed to this position will teach courses in economics (both macro and micro) and management/marketing/hospitality to support the business curriculum. Responsibilities include advising students, engaging in departmental and university service, and maintaining scholarly currency in the discipline. The anticipated course load is a minimum of 12 undergraduate credit hours per semester (24 credit hours per year). 6-9 credits in Macro and Micro Economics will be part of the load each semester

Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field; or ABD

Salary and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $67,620 - $71,856 commensurate with experience and education.
