Assistant Professor of History (Public History)
The Department of History at the University of Nebraska at Kearney invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of History (Public History) to contribute to the university’s growing undergraduate and graduate programs in public history. The faculty member will join a vibrant department that values public scholarship and community engagement in consideration for promotion and tenure. They will be expected to contribute towards the department’s existing relationships with local, state, and regional public history organizations, and to collaborate with faculty colleagues and community partners on public projects. The faculty member will teach courses in the undergraduate public history minor and online MA in Public History, as well as graduate and undergraduate course
