Griffin School is seeking an experienced and engaging high school social studies teacher for the 2025-26 school year. This is a part-time position (approximately half-time, 15 – 25 per week) with an emphasis on teaching AP Government and Economics to 12th grade students.

Candidates should be committed, passionate, creative, and compassionate people who have a demonstrated expertise in their subject matter and classroom teaching experience at the high school level. Requirements:

• BA or BS in History or related field
• At least one year experience as the lead teacher of AP U.S. Government
• At least one year experience as the lead teacher of Economics
• Demonstrated success in motivating students and supporting their academic growth
• Passion for helping student grow as people and supporting their social and emotional development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
