Griffin School is seeking an experienced and engaging high school social studies teacher for the 2025-26 school year. This is a part-time position (approximately half-time, 15 – 25 per week) with an emphasis on teaching AP Government and Economics to 12th grade students.
Candidates should be committed, passionate, creative, and compassionate people who have a demonstrated expertise in their subject matter and classroom teaching experience at the high school level. We value kindness and compassion, intellectual engagement, stability and reliability, and a collaborative nature in our faculty members.

Requirements:
BA or BS in History or related field
At least one year experience as the lead teacher of AP U.S. Government
At least one year experience as the lead teacher of Economics
Demonstrated success in motivating students and supporting their academic growth
Passion for helping student grow as people and supporting their social and emotional development
