Harding Academy is seeking an experienced Middle School History Teacher for Grade 8.  We invite those interested in serving our students and faculty in this role to complete this application.  This is a full-time position offering benefits. The primary teaching responsibilities of the Grade 8 Middle School History Teacher include delivery of a robust U.S. History curriculum, and serving as a grade level advisor with all of its duties. This position also plans and coordinates the class trip in the spring, traditionally to Washington D.C.

Required:   Bachelor's degree in subject area

                    Ability to clear a Background Screening as well as a Drug Screening, if requested

Preferred:   Master’s and minimum three years’ experience in an instructional role; extracurricular engagement or coaching experience

 Current teacher certification in the State of Tennessee
