Job Description:
Falk College is seeking a part-time instructor to teach MFT 761, SEC M005: Practicum in Marriage & Family Therapy II in the Summer 2025 (5/19/2025- 8/8/2025) semester. This course is the second course of four required courses in supervised clinical practice in Couple and Family Therapy for students in the Marriage and Family Therapy program. Section M005 is a lab section for supervision of students. Instructor will receive 2 credits pay for this section with a maximum of 5 students assigned to the section. Supervision will take place in accordance with students' client activities.
Qualifications:
Masters or PhD degree and license in Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
AAMFT Approved Supervisor credential or AAMFT Approved Supervisor candidacy required.
Graduate level teaching experience is preferred.
Experience with electronic medical records system(s) (preferably Titanium) is preferred.

Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group systemic/relational clinical supervision for a practicum lab section with a maximum of 5 students.
Determine and assess progress toward students clinical goals, review and sign supervisees case documentation and tracking logs.
Document in writing and share concerns with supervisee. Provide reports of concerns to the MFT department as needed.
Complete end of the semester evaluations in collaboration with supervisees and report on progress to the MFT 761 course faculty.
Provide supervision coverage one evening per week in the Couple and Family Therapy Center.
