Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice, Tenure Track
Primary Purpose and Essential Functions: A strong background in general ambulatory care or general acute care pharmacy practice is required. The person appointed will teach in pharmaceutical care/therapeutics courses, case-based courses, and pharmacy skills courses in the Pharm.D. curriculum. All specialties will be considered and are encouraged to apply. Since this is a tenure track position, experience in research and/or scholarship is highly desired. In addition to teaching and scholarly activity, service on departmental, school, and university committees is expected. A Pharm.D. with a PGY1 residency/fellowship or equivalent practice experience is required; preference will be given to candidates with a PGY2. Applicants must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Must be licensed or eligible for pharmacist licensure in California; if not licensed in California, licensure within one year of hire is required.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in California
Pharm.D. with a PGY1 residency/fellowship or equivalent experience
Strong background in ambulatory or acute care pharmacy practice
