All Saints’ Episcopal Day School is seeking a Middle School Religion Teacher & Service Coordinator to begin in August 2026. The ideal candidate is passionate about middle school, fostering spiritual growth, and creating meaningful service learning experiences. Successful candidates have experience building connections with students to understand their individual interests and using these insights to create learning experiences that ignite curiosity and sustained engagement. This role will partner with our Lower School Service Learning Coordinator, Church and School Leadership, and Middle School Advisors.
We are seeking candidates who demonstrate a passion for the subject content and guiding students to discover their own spiritual path. We also value an understanding of service to a world in need. They will possess the knowledge and ability to educate students about the Episcopal tradition—which emphasizes inclusivity and kindness—along with a broad understanding of various world religions. Experience developing and implementing service-learning programs in a collaborative environment, with the ability to guide others toward a shared vision, is preferred.
We place a high value on community and seek candidates with excellent interpersonal skills who work well with students, colleagues, and parents. This full-time position will teach and advise middle school students in grades 5–8, work collaboratively to lead service learning experiences for students, and support our Chapel program in partnership with the clergy, in addition to other responsibilities held by an independent school educator.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as education, history, theology, psychology, or a related degree, master’s degree preferred
Knowledge of the Episcopal Church and its history, as well as world religions
Education, training, and/or experience in student engagement and differentiation
Experience teaching middle school students, preferred experience teaching religion
Ability to integrate technology to transform instruction and student learning
Creativity, passion for the subject matter, and a positive attitude
An appreciation for and an understanding of the social, emotional, educational, and developmental needs of learners ages 10–14
