Social Studies Teacher
Mount Saint Mary Academy is seeking a full time Social Studies teacher with a strong interest and background in Global Studies and content knowledge of United States History and Economics a plus. The ideal candidate should be well versed in teaching historical thinking skills, capable of developing lesson plans tied to current global issues of political, economic, and social importance, and have experience guiding students through an independent research process. The position involves teaching five courses and participating in extracurricular activities.  The candidate should hold a degree in History with additional coursework in Economics.
