Jodrey Chair was established at Dalhousie University in 1969.  The Chair was established by Roy A. Jodrey, who founded Nova Scotia Power companies and the Minas Basin Pulp & Paper Company and built a financial empire. Jodrey came from humble Maritime roots but was determined to teach himself the basics of business. He was known for his grit, determination, and vision.
