Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor of Japanese
The Department of Modern Languages at Carnegie Mellon University invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Teaching-Track position in Japanese, beginning in Fall 2023. Applicants must have native or near-native fluency in Japanese and English. PhD in Linguistics (Japanese), Japanese Studies, or relevant field is required, ABD considered. Demonstrated experience or interest in technology-enhanced language and culture teaching and assessment, including online course development, is highly desirable, as is interest in developing study abroad and exchange programs.
