Middle School Social Studies Parental Leave Substitute
Position Summary St. George’s is seeking an experienced middle school educator to cover a parental leave in the Middle School Social Studies Department starting November 6, 2023, through March 5, 2024. This teacher would follow unit guides and textbook resources to plan and teach two sections of 5th Grade Geography, two sections of 6th Grade Ancient Civilizations and one section of 7th Grade American History, following an alternating block schedule. This substitute will also meet daily with an 8th grade Advisory and supervise students throughout the week at lunch and carpool duty. They will report directly to the Director of Middle School.
