Job Summary:
The Martin School of Public Policy and Administration at the University of Kentucky invites applications for an open-rank, tenured or tenure-track faculty position in Environmental Policy, Urban Policy or Social Policy. This is a nine-month appointment to begin August 1, 2025. Applicants with a Ph.D. in Public Policy, Public Administration, Public Affairs, Political Science, Sociology or Economics are encouraged to apply. We seek outstanding scholars who can contribute to our Ph.D. program, our professional master's degree programs and an undergraduate degree in public policy.
The Martin School of Public Policy and Administration is a University Center of Excellence with a multidisciplinary faculty offering five degrees: Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration, Master of Public Administration, Master of Public Policy, Master of Public Financial Management, and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy. Currently, the Martin School is a highly ranked program as it is currently ranked 26th among all public affairs programs, 4th in public finance and budgeting, 24th in local government management and 35th in public policy analysis by U.S. News and World Report.
