The Department of Management offers an exciting opportunity and welcomes applications for an Assistant Professor of Management beginning August 2025.
Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, conducting scholarly research in the area of entrepreneurship and/or strategy, and service to the university and profession.

Duties and Responsibilities: Teaching: Teach up to 9 semester hours of undergraduate or graduate courses, both on-campus and online. Teaching reduction is available for exceptional research performance. Time release and summer stipend is available to recent PhD. graduates.
Research: Conduct scholarly research, primarily in the area of entrepreneurship, strategy and/or management, and publish in high-quality academic journals.
Service: Actively contribute professional service to the Department of Management, the Miller College of Business, Ball State University, and the profession.
Minimum Qualifications: Education: PhD in entrepreneurship, strategic management or other business-related field from an accredited college or university. (ABD near completion will be considered but degree must be completed by date of appointment.)
Experience: Evidence of scholarly research and teaching experience in business-related field.
Teaching: At least six months of higher education teaching experience in entrepreneurship, strategy, management or another business-related field.
Preferred Qualifications: Teaching: Full time teaching experience in entrepreneurship, strategy, or other business-related field at the university level, including teaching experience with new technologies.
Education: PhD in entrepreneurship or strategy from an accredited college or university.
Research: Significant record of publications in referred journals in entrepreneurship, strategy or management area.
