Position overview Salary range: The salary range for this position is $104,300 -$124,000. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. Position description The Department of Urban Planning and Public Policy (UPPP) at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) invites applications for a tenured faculty member whose research addresses at least one of the following topics: transportation, housing, or public administration. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong record of research and teaching and reinforce UPPP's leadership in social justice and sustainability.
Priority will be given to applications received by October 15, 2024; however, applications will be accepted until the position is filled. Candidates must have completed a Ph.D. in public administration, public policy, urban planning, economics, geography, sociology, political science or a related field.
