Position Information: The BEES Administrative Unit provides business services for a large and complex operation encompassing extensive teaching, research, and outreach components for the Botanic Gardens, Earth & Planetary Sciences, and Environmental Sciences within the College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences (CNAS). In addition, BEES supports the UCR employees and campus purchases of the USDA Salinity Laboratory and provides conference management support for all units within CNAS. Under the direct supervision of the BEES Financial Operations Manager (FOM), the Financial Services Analyst will reconcile monthly ledgers, will generate departmental financial reports, and will prepare Sales & Services applications and prepare associated invoices. The Financial Services Analyst will also provide administrative support for Summer Session, manage equipment inventory, and will serve as backup support for Receiving as needed. The successful incumbent will work with a diverse set of customers including faculty, students, researchers, staff, conference attendees, and visitors.
This position will be required to work on campus and may be eligible for a hybrid work schedule after completing a probationary period.
The full salary range for the Financial Services Analyst is $26.82 - $46.17 per hour. However, the expected pay scale for this position is $26.82 - $34.34 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.

Manages equipment inventory for items with an acquisition value of $5,000 or more. Maintains accurate count, location, ownership, and value of inventory items. Maintains records of off-campus authorizations, equipment loans, and buy-down theft insurance for this equipment. Submits bi-annual physical inventory report and annual verification to UCR Equipment Management.
