St. Andrew’s Episcopal School seeks to hire an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and passionate full-time Upper School ESL and Japanese Language Teacher and Exchange Program Coordinator starting in August of 2025. Preferred candidates will be eager to support two students from Japan in their English language acquisition, as well as teach US History to the Japanese students. In addition, the candidate will teach introductory Japanese language and culture to the two students selected to represent St. Andrew’s in Japan and will support the exchange program.
Qualified candidates will have experience in teaching language learners, be culturally aware, and have a genuine passion for helping students improve their language skills in a dynamic and student-centered environment. A bachelor’s degree or higher is required, as well as classroom teaching experience. Candidates must be fluent in both English and Japanese. Candidates must be eligible to teach in the United States without sponsorship.
