The Department of Music, Theatre and Dance seeks part time instructors to teach undergraduate courses in Theatre and Dance. Applicants are added to the pool list throughout the year. Appointments are made on a semester-by-semester (fall/spring) basis with opportunities for long-term part time employment. Hiring decisions are made in late spring/early summer for the fall semester, and early fall for the spring semester.

West African Dance
Jazz dance styles rooted in Africanist aesthetics
Dance History and Theory
Hip Hop
Contemporary/Modern technique

Intro to Theatre
African American Drama
Gender and Sexuality in Theatre
Film Acting
Salve Dance also seeks guest artists/choreographers who work in jazz or jazz-adjacent styles. Guest artists conduct short residencies in the dance program throughout the academic year and do not have to be local. Job Requirements:
MA or MFA with professional teaching experience.
A BA or BFA without an MA/MFA will be considered for studio course instruction if the candidate has equivalent performance and/or teaching experience.
