The History Department in the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University invites applicants for a tenure-track assistant professorship in Latin American history with a focus on Modern Latin America, including the Caribbean or Brazil, excluding Mexico.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach two courses per semester, maintain an active research program, and serve on departmental and other committees. Ph.D. must be in hand at time of appointment.
