The University of Alabama History Department invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in Asian History. The successful candidate will be expected to teach the department's History of Asian Civilization sequence, and upper-level undergraduate and graduate courses in their field of specialization. The Department and the University emphasize excellence in teaching as well as scholarship. Ph.D. in History must be in hand by time of appointment.
