Job Network is a program in which we receive students from the Department of Social Service and assist them in finding employment through classes and wrap around services.
Part-time Job Network adjunct faculty provide instruction to students with specific focuses on gaining employment, life skills and success in the workplace.
All classes are taught online or in person at either the Catonsville or Essex campuses. Classes are subject to change depending on need and availability. All classes run during daytime hours from Monday to Thursday from 9:30am-2:30pm.
Bachelor's degree and minimum of two years of experience training/teaching adult students, knowledge of adult learning and best practices.
Demonstrated ability to teach a computer-assisted curriculum.
Previous experience in working with hard-to-serve populations and teaching economically disadvantaged, or those with barriers is strongly preferred.
Daytime availability from 9:30-2:30 Monday through Thursday.
Primary responsibilities include class preparation, instruction, testing, and record-keeping/data collection for reporting. Instructors be comfortable working in a team setting and solo teaching environments.
