Position Title: Assistant Track and Field Coach
Unit: Non-Unit
Reports To: Director of Athletics
Date: October 2024
The Assistant Track & Field coach is responsible for player development and assisting the head coach with team practice and all game preparations. The Assistant Coach behaves and conducts work processes in a manner consistent with the Region 21 standards and the College's guiding principles. Performs all daily functions and activities within the guidelines and philosophy of the college.
Job Requirements:
Provides quality coaching and instruction to students participating on Track & Field team; develops, implements, and teaches related training session and techniques.
Recruit student athletes in accordance with NJCAA athletic regulations, conference and college values. Committed to student success.
Help maintain RCC Athletic facilities used by the Track & Field program.
Assist in supervising student athletes on trips and onsite during all program related practices, games, and functions.
Serve as role model to assist the team members in developing and displaying appropriate attitudes and behavior expected of athletic teams and individuals representing RCC.
Maintains sensitivity, understanding, and respect for a diverse academic environment, inclusive of students, faculty, and staff of varying social, ability, economic, cultural, ideological, and ethnic backgrounds.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation: $8,000.00
Location: Roxbury campus

Expected Start Date: October 2024
This is a seasonal contracted position. Coach will be compensated for the timeline of the contract/season.
