The School of Education at the University at Albany is seeking field supervisors for teacher/leader preparation programs in the Capital District and throughout New York State. Field supervisors observe, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to students during their clinical placements. Supervisors are needed in the following certification areas:
Biology
Chemistry
Childhood Education
Early Childhood Education
Earth Science
English Language Arts
French
Literacy (birth-grade 6)
Literacy (grades 5-12)
Math
Physics
School Building/School District/School Administrator
Social Studies
Spanish
Students with Disabilities (grades 1-6)
Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages

Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization
Professional or permanent New York State certification in the specified content area or school building leadership
A minimum of 5 years as a classroom teacher of record.
Ability to observe students in-person and remotely
Demonstrated ability to work with a culturally diverse population
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience supervising clinical experiences of candidates in teacher/leader preparation programs

Professional Rank and Salary Range: Lecturer; Starting stipend of $800 per supervisee + mileage, where applicable
