The Education Coordinator will lead the IQM's educational activities. The coordinator will develop and execute programs, events, and activities that educate and engage visitors in quiltmaking traditions and art worldwide and that encourage personal and community growth and contribute to the IQM and its mission.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree plus one year experience in curriculum development, design and conducting educational programs. Ability to work well independently and to collaborate with a range of individuals, including University faculty, staff, students, PK-12 schools and teachers, museum professionals, and the public. Must be willing to work evenings and weekends. Strong teaching, organizational skills; strong written, oral communication skills, initiative and flexibility.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in History/Art History/Social Studies Experience teaching K-12 or in museums. Experience coordinating a volunteer program and training volunteers.
