Part-Time Lecturer (Gendered Globalization)
General Summary:The Department of Women's and Gender Studies is seeking an instructor for a Gendered Globalization: Economic, Political, and Cultural Dimensions. This course is crosslisted with Sociology and Political Science and between the 400 (upper division undergraduate) and 500 (Master's) level. This course approaches globalization as a gendered, multidimensional process. It provides an overview of how the economic, political and cultural dimensions of globalization impact gender inequalities across countries and cultures. The course examines the intersections of gender and class, race, ethnicity, location and sexualities from a transnational comparative approach.
