Casady School is seeking an Upper Division History Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Candidates should have an abiding passion for creating a culture of belonging for every student in the classroom and in the larger school community.

Responsibilities:

• Teach five sections of Upper Division History
• Advise a small group of Upper Division students
• Attend to student rows in daily chapel service
• Share conversation with students at a family-style dining table during lunch
• Willing to participate in coaching or activity sponsorship
• Monitor study hall and proctor exams as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in History, or Bachelor’s Degree with three years of experience teaching history
• Experience and/or interest in teaching World History; non-Western and/or pre-1500 CE expertise preferred
• Understanding of adolescent development
• Ability to utilize technology to enhance student learning
• Positive, proactive, and clear communication style with colleagues, students, and parents
