Position Description and Expectations The Department of History in the College of Prothro-Yeager College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Midwestern State University invites applications for a full-time, 9-month tenure-track Assistant Professor to begin in Fall 2026. As a faculty member in the Department of History, you will be expected to: Teach 12 credit hours (4 courses) a semester. This includes core courses in U.S. history as well as upper-level courses in public history and/or digital history approaches. Face-to-face and online teaching are both expected.
