The Department of Sociology at Worcester State University invites applications for our adjunct hiring pool for part-time teaching assignments. We are seeking sociologists whose areas of expertise complement our departmental commitments to public sociology and social justice and who have a strong record of teaching excellence. The possible teaching load may vary from 3 to a maximum of 9 credits in the day division, DGCE, or a combination thereof.
Job Requirements:
Master's degree in sociology required;Ph.D. in sociology preferred
College-level teaching experience is required
Experience with distance learning preferred.
Must have a laptop and reliable internet access.

The applicant pool will be reviewed by the department chair, when searching for candidates to fill the position.
Applicants for adjunct positions will not be notified of their status unless they are contacted by the department chair or their designee.
Applicants should withdraw their application from the pool if they are no longer interested.
