Buckley Country Day School, a premier independent school serving students aged 2 through grade 8, seeks a dynamic and dedicated World History Teacher for Grades 5 and 6 to join our faculty beginning in the 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate is a passionate educator who brings history to life, fosters critical thinking, and creates an engaging, student-centered classroom environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in History, Education, or related field preferred
Prior teaching experience preferred, ideally in an independent or middle school setting
Strong communication skills, intellectual curiosity, and a deep commitment to the social-emotional growth of students
