Position Summary/Description:
The Department of Philosophy and the Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) Program seek to appoint one (or more) non-tenure track Teaching Assistant Professor(s) to begin July 1, 2025. Initial appointments will be for a term of 1 year with the possibility of renewal for two more years. These candidates should have an AOS in social and political philosophy, or another area directly related to PPE. They will be joining an active, vigorous, and welcoming philosophical community. The successful candidates will teach two undergraduate PPE-related courses per semester and be actively involved in the PPE Program, helping to organize and run aspects of its active extracurricular programming. They should also be able and willing to teach courses that count toward the PPE minor, including the 'Gateway' course that introduces students to the tools of PPE.
