Strategy Development & Branding •Develop and implement an integrated and systems-based marketing and communications plan to increase awareness of and affinity for ACA among key constituencies, including parents, faculty and staff, grandparents, alumni, donors, friends, and community partners. •Lead the school’s brand strategy, ensuring consistency with its visual identity across all digital, print, multimedia platforms, and the ACA website. •Oversee the development and management of the marketing and communications budget, including annual planning for ad placements, collateral production, and campaign tools. •Regularly evaluate and manage digital tools/platforms used across departments for purposes of marketing and communications; provide internal training and guidance on best practices around communications systems and workflows. Analyze performance metrics (web, social, press, campaigns) to adjust and optimize strategy. •Manage multiple projects under strict deadlines, balancing strategic and tactical plans. •Serve as an integral member of the leadership team, counseling the school’s leadership on all matters related to marketing and communications.
Content Creation Admissions, Enrollment, and Retention •Manage the design and production of all written, visual, video, and audio assets to market ACA to prospective families and students, and re-market ACA to current families and students to promote retention. •Collaborate with the Admissions Office to develop and execute campaigns, ads, email flows, postcards, and yield materials. •Create editorial content; produce, script, and edit videos; generate graphic designs; and ensure a consistent visual identity across the ACA brand. •Create and manage all enrollment-driven digital campaigns across various platforms, including Meta, Hubspot, Instagram, Google, LinkedIn, Vimeo, YouTube, and others. •Manage the school’s website by regularly refreshing the content, news, and videos. •Partner with the Admissions office as needed at on- and off-campus events.
Development and Alumni Relations •Partner with the Development Office to support all philanthropic communications, including: ?Annual Fund Campaign, Capital Campaigns, Giving Day, Gala/Auction, and Sporting Clays ?Donor newsletters, invitations, and stewardship materials ?Print/digital ads, event programs, promotional collateral, and signage ?Ticketing and RSVP platforms, email campaigns, and social media pushes •Oversee the school’s annual report and alumni/grandparent newsletters aimed at increasing engagement and strengthening donor stewardship. Responsible for writing or assigning articles, editing, photography, design, production, and distribution. •Provide event marketing and invitations for development and community events, including Parenting Together, Veteran’s Day, Pastor Appreciation, Grandparents Day, Homecoming, Fine Arts productions, and other events as required.
School-Wide •Edit and produce a twice monthly e-newsletter, Between the Lions, for parents, faculty, and other close constituents. Responsible for writing or assigning articles, editing, photography, design, production, and distribution. •Coordinate, edit, and send school-to-home messages on behalf of staff, departments, and leadership. •Maintain the school’s intranet and resource boards, providing editorial content, design, and quality control. •Serve as the point person to ensure consistent visual identity and branding across institutional presentations, publications, campus-wide marketing, athletic uniforms, and school swag. •Provide marketing and communications support for internal and public events. •Support faculty and staff with formatting, messaging, and content for events, programs, and external communications. •Serve as the liaison with the external community, with an eye toward enhancing brand visibility, identifying opportunities for our students, and fostering partnerships. •Be a presence at school, co-curricular, and social events.
Media & Public Relations •Establish and maintain strong relationships among all constituencies of ACA, including students, parents, alumni, community members, faculty members, staff members, and administrators. Maintain visibility on campus through interactions with these constituents and participation in school activities. •Serve as chief spokesperson for ACA in the event of a crisis; serve as a member of the emergency management team; manage crisis communications and PR.
Required Professional Qualifications •Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred. •Prior leadership or administrative experience in an educational setting preferred. •Strong commitment to the Christian faith, with the ability to integrate a biblical worldview into instruction and leadership. •Excellent organizational, communication, and team-building skills. •Respects the diversity of students, including their race, denominational persuasion, ethnicity, socio-economic status, and learning ability. •Can clearly articulate a Biblical philosophy of education. •Maintains confidentiality with sensitive information. •Willing to abide by ACA’s Professional Standards.
Required Personal Qualifications •Acknowledges Christ as Savior and seeks to live a life grounded in grace and obedience to Him. •Believes the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God—the standard for faith and practice (Article II, ACA By-Laws). •Believes and actively supports the By-Laws of Asheville Christian Academy (attached to application). •Demonstrates a desire for spiritual growth as evidenced by his or her prayer life, Bible study, and spiritual service to others. •Stands as a Christian role model in attitude, speech, and actions toward others (Luke 6:40). This includes being committed to God’s biblical standards for sexual conduct (ACA Lifestyle Statement/Declaration of Moral Integrity attached to application). •Demonstrates the fruits of mature Christians, has a knowledge of Scripture, and has a fundamental understanding of key doctrines covered in the By-laws. •Has a Christ-centered home. •Actively participates in a local Bible-believing church. •Is in agreement with the Statement of Faith, Christian Philosophy of Education and Core Values of Asheville Christian Academy. •Appreciates Christian Education and is committed to helping ACA meet the instructional needs and overall wellbeing of all students. •Presents Jesus Christ first and Asheville Christian Academy second. •Demonstrates a collaborative style of work, and a spirit of problem-solving and joy in service. •Maintains a professional appearance indicative of a Christian role model of cleanliness, modesty in dress, words, and actions consistent with school policy and the teachings of scripture (Philippians 4:8-9).
