The Department of Social Sciences, History, and Criminal Justice (part of the Maxwell Becton College of Arts and Sciences) at Fairleigh Dickinson University (https://www.fdu.edu/) is looking for part-time (adjunct) faculty to teach sections of Sociology starting in Spring 2026. Sections are 3 credit hours and meet Monday-Thursday, Tuesday-Friday, or as a double block on different days including Wednesday. At this time, we are looking for someone to teach two sections of Introduction to Sociology.
Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate would have a Ph.D. in Sociology. We will be happy to consider you if you have an advanced degree in Sociology and/or are an advanced graduate school student with teaching experience in a University setting.
