Location: Syracuse, NY Pay Range: $90,000 - $130,000 Pay Determination:
Salary offers at Syracuse University will be based on education, experience, and relevant skills, as well as the academic or professional discipline of the position in the context of the home department, school, or college. Salary offers may also be influenced by prior relevant work or industry experience, where applicable. Faculty pay ranges are for 8.5 months salary unless otherwise specified.

Job Description:
The Department of Chemistry at Syracuse University invites applicants for a tenured Associate Professor position in Medicinal Chemistry. We are seeking candidates with innovative research programs in drug design and discovery, including those incorporating machine learning methodologies. Scientists with significant experience at nationally recognized research institutions are strongly encouraged to apply. The candidate will join a highly successful faculty in medicinal chemistry that encourages interdisciplinary research spanning multiple departments and colleges.

Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely related field
Job Specific Qualifications:
Established research portfolio and history of externally funded research.
Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching at all levels.
Responsibilities:
Maintain an active, externally funded research program.
Teach courses in medicinal chemistry or a closely related field at all levels.
Supervise and mentor undergraduate, graduate students, and postdoctoral researchers.
Contribute to departmental, college, and university service.
