Manlius Pebble Hill School (MPH) seeks an innovative and accomplished Spanish educator to join our World Languages Department for the 2026-27 school year. Primary Job Responsibilities
Teach a full course load of five sections (or equivalent) across grades 2–12, fostering students’ language proficiency while cultivating an appreciation for the cultures, histories, and perspectives of the Spanish-speaking world.
Co-advise a small group of Middle or Upper School students in support of their academic, social, and emotional development.
Participate as a facilitator or co-facilitator in the Middle and Upper School Clubs program during the school day.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across divisions and departments, fostering teamwork and cooperation among faculty, staff, and administration.
Key Skills and Qualities
Experience with proficiency-based language instruction
Familiarity with educational technology, including Google Classroom
Attitude: Exudes joy, enthusiasm, patience, and compassion
The annual salary range for this position is $51,000 - $67,500, dependent on teaching experience, with excellent benefits that include medical, dental, and life insurance, an employer-matching retirement savings plan, and tuition remission for eligible children.

Requirements
Native or near-native fluency in Spanish
A bachelor's degree in Spanish, World Languages, Education, or a related field is required; master's degree preferred
At least two years of classroom teaching experience is preferred
A demonstrated commitment to inclusive teaching practices, responsiveness to diverse learners, and a willingness to participate fully in the life of the school
